Receive your referral commissions

Are you a member of the Shoplit referral program? Your commissions are paid to you automatically once a month, through Stripe. You only need to open your payout account once.

In the left menu, under More, click Referrals. The Referrals area button at the bottom of the menu opens the same page. Both only show once you’re a member of the program.
In the Payouts card, choose your Country of residence. The card only asks for it if your country isn’t known yet.
Click Add my payout account.
A secure Stripe form opens. Fill it in with your own details: Stripe checks your identity and your bank details, in about 5 minutes. When you’re done, Stripe brings you back to your Referrals page.
Once your account is ready, the card shows the date of your next payout and its estimated amount.

The Stripe form

The form is hosted by Stripe, not by Shoplit. Stripe asks for your personal details and the bank account where you want to receive the money, and it may ask for an ID document. Use your own details: the account is in your name.

If you stop halfway, the card shows Your payout account isn’t finished yet.

Resume opens the form again, where you left off.
Start over (change country) deletes the unfinished account so you can pick another country. Once Stripe has your details, this is no longer possible: use Resume.

If the card shows Stripe needs more information from you., Stripe is waiting for a document or a detail: click Resume.

When you get paid

A commission stays On hold (30-day hold) for 30 days after your referral’s payment, then becomes Available.
Every month, from the 1st, your available commissions are paid to you automatically, as soon as they reach €50. Below that, they carry over to the next month.
A payout above €1,000 is checked by the team before it’s sent. Meanwhile, it shows Being checked in the history.
While a payout is on its way, its commissions show as Being paid, then add up in Already paid out.
You get an email when your payout is sent. Stripe then sends the money to your bank account within a few days.
Paid in another currency than the euro? You receive the equivalent at the European Central Bank rate of the day. Shoplit covers the transfer and conversion fees.
Until your payout account is ready, your balance is kept. Once €50 is available, an email reminds you each month to add the account. You’re paid as soon as it’s ready, one payout per month at most.
If a referral’s payment is refunded, the commission on that payment is cancelled as long as it hasn’t been paid to you. A partial refund cancels it too, except for Master Affiliates.

Your payout history

Payout history, under the cards, lists each payout with its date, its amount and its status: Sent, Pending or Being checked. Click a payout to see the commissions it includes. Paid in another currency, you also see the amount received in your currency. Print prints the list for your records.

To change the bank account you’re paid on, click Manage my payout account in the Payouts card: your Stripe space opens.

Your country isn’t in the list?

Payouts are available in the 27 European Union countries, Norway, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada and the United States. If you live elsewhere (Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia, for example), choose Other country: the card shows The program isn’t open in your country yet. and no automatic payout is possible for now.

Your commissions still add up on your Referrals page. Ask Lya to pass your request on to the team, which looks into your case. A payout made by hand shows Paid by bank transfer in the history.
