Build a complete funnel with AI

Available on the Business plan.

Tell the AI what you sell: it asks you a few questions, suggests a plan, then builds the whole funnel for you. A funnel is the series of pages a buyer goes through: sales page, checkout, extra offers and thank-you page.

  1. In the left menu, open Funnels, click + Create, then the AI funnel card.

  2. Tell the AI what to sell. There are three ways to start:

    • Describe your product in a sentence or two.
    • Click My products, pick one of your ebooks or video courses (type a word of its title in the search field to find it faster), then click Choose.
    • Click Attach a file to send a PDF or a ZIP (50 MB max). The file becomes a product in My products, like an import, so it counts as one AI creation. The AI reads a PDF of up to 10 MB to understand its topic, audience and promises. It never opens a ZIP: it only uses its name and your description.

  3. Next to the arrow, check the language of your pages: FR (French) or EN (English). Until you change it, it follows the language you write in. Then click the round arrow, or press Enter.

  4. The AI sums up what it understood (topic, audience, promise), then asks 2 to 4 short questions. Click a ready-made answer, or Other to write your own (a few words at least). Then click Send my answers.

  5. Check the Funnel plan card: the type of funnel and why, its steps (sales page or opt-in page, checkout with an order bump, upsell, downsell, thank-you page), the product of each offer, the audience, angle, tone, style, fonts and the language of the pages. An offer uses one of your products, or a Product idea to create when nothing in your store fits.

    To change something, click Adjust and write what you want, for example remove the downsell or make the tone more playful. The AI sends back the full plan, updated.

  6. Click Generate this funnel. The steps tick off as they’re built. You can leave the page: the build keeps going and the funnel shows up in Funnels. When it’s ready, it opens on its overview, and you can change everything in the editor.

When the AI suggests a quiz

If a quiz fits your offer better (several products for different levels or profiles, or visitors to guide before they buy), the AI can suggest a quiz funnel. A card explains why, with Yes, make a quiz and No, keep a classic funnel. You can also ask for a quiz yourself in the conversation.

If you accept, the same conversation goes on in quiz mode. The AI keeps what you already said, picks the products of the quiz, asks five short questions, then shows the Quiz plan card. Click Generate this quiz funnel to build it. To edit a quiz afterwards, see Build a quiz funnel.

Create a product the AI suggested

When nothing in your store fits an offer, the plan suggests a product idea instead. After the build, you find that idea on the funnel’s overview.

  1. Open Funnels, then click Funnel on the card of your funnel. The Steps tab opens.

  2. On the step concerned, find the AI idea: box (AI order bump idea: on the checkout), then click Create this product.

    The idea is written in the language of your funnel: here, a funnel in French.

  3. The ebook creation opens, already filled in from the idea: topic, promise, audience, tone, content, number of pages and the funnel’s language. A banner at the top reminds you where the product will go and its suggested price. Adjust what you like, then click Start generation.

While the ebook is generating, the step shows Creating the product…. Once it’s ready, Shoplit places it in the funnel for you: as the order bump on the checkout, or as the product of the upsell or downsell. It gets the suggested price, in the currency of your main product, and the idea disappears. The ebook counts as one AI creation.

Good to know

  • A generated funnel counts as one AI creation (see Compare plans and check your creation limits). Prices always come from your products.
  • The AI copies the way you write, informal or formal.
  • The AI only builds sales funnels for your products. It turns down any other request, and the conversation closes after three refusals in a row. Start over, at the top, clears the conversation so you can begin again.
  • The conversation is kept in your browser tab as long as it stays open.
  • You can send up to 40 messages an hour, get 8 plans a day and generate 3 AI funnels a day.
