Send an email campaign
Available on the Pro and Business plans.
A campaign is one email you send to many contacts at once: your news, a promo, a new product. Only your Subscribed contacts receive it.
Before your first campaign: connect your sending domain
Section titled “Before your first campaign: connect your sending domain”Your campaigns are sent from your own domain name, like my-brand.com, not from a Shoplit address. Mailboxes then see that the emails really come from you. You need a domain you own: if you don’t have one yet, buy one from a registrar like Hostinger or Cloudflare.
-
In the left menu, click Settings, then open the Email Marketing tab.
-
In Sending domain, type your domain, for example
my-brand.com, then click Connect. -
Shoplit sets up a subdomain for your emails, which starts with
send(for examplesend.my-brand.com), and shows the DNS records to create. A domain connected before October 2026 keeps itsenvoisubdomain: nothing to change. A DNS record is a line in your domain’s settings that proves the emails come from you. At the company where you bought your domain, create each record exactly as shown, with its Type, Name and Value. The buttons next to each name and value copy them. -
Back in Shoplit, click Verify. It can take from a few minutes to a few hours: if the status still says Pending verification, click Verify again a bit later. When it says Verified, your domain is ready.
-
Fill in your Sender name (the name your contacts see) and your Sender address, which must end with your sending subdomain, for example
hello@send.my-brand.com. Check the preview under What your contacts will see, then click Save sender.
Write and send a campaign
Section titled “Write and send a campaign”-
In the left menu, open Marketing > Campaigns, then click New campaign. A draft opens.
-
Under Start from a template, pick Newsletter, Product launch, Promo or Re-engagement to get a subject and a text to adapt, or keep Blank. A template replaces the subject and the text already there.
-
In Audience, choose who gets the email: All subscribers, Buyers only or one of your tags. The number of recipients shows on the right.
-
Type the Subject, then write your email. The bar above the text adds bold, a heading, a list, a link or a color. To greet each contact by name, click
{first_name}under Personalize: Shoplit replaces it with the contact’s first name when the email goes out. For a first draft, describe your email in the field under the text, choose Newsletter, Promo or Announcement, then click the arrow: the AI writes a subject and a text that you can change. -
Click Save to keep your draft, then click Send me a test. Shoplit sends the email to the address of your account, with “[Test]” before the subject.
-
Click Send now, then confirm. To send it later, tick Schedule for later, choose the date and the time, then click Schedule for later.
A contact with no first name in your list gets an empty space where {first_name} was: write your greeting so it still reads well. The AI writes in the language of your Shoplit interface, and each draft counts toward your daily AI edits.
After sending
Section titled “After sending”A campaign that has been sent can’t be changed anymore. In Campaigns, each line shows its status: Draft, Scheduled, Sending, Sent, Failed or Canceled. Open a sent campaign to see its Report: Sent, Delivered, Open rate and Click rate. The open rate is only a hint, because some mailboxes, like Apple Mail, open every email by themselves. Clicks are the number to trust. Marketing > Tracking shows the results of all your campaigns and automations.
Replies and unsubscribes
Section titled “Replies and unsubscribes”- Each email ends with your sender name and an unsubscribe link, in the language of your Shoplit interface. A contact who unsubscribes, or reports your email as spam, becomes Unsubscribed and won’t get your campaigns again.
- Replies go to your sender address, on your sending subdomain, not to your usual mailbox. To stay reachable, write your own email address in the text of your campaign.
How many emails you can send
Section titled “How many emails you can send”Each calendar month, you can send up to 10,000 emails on the Pro plan and 50,000 on the Business plan. Each recipient counts as one email. A campaign that would go over the limit is refused. Once you reach it, your automations stop sending too until the next month, and the emails planned in between aren’t sent later.
