Choose your ebook's language and length

Your ebook can be written in English or in French, whatever the language of your Shoplit screens. You choose its language and its number of pages before Shoplit writes it.

  1. In the left menu, open Products > Create a product, click Create an ebook, then Open the questionnaire.

  2. In Ebook language, at the top left, click English or Français. It starts on the language of your Shoplit screens. It sets the language of the questions and of everything the AI makes, text and illustrations. Your answers stay when you switch.

  3. In Number of pages, click a step of the slider: 10, 20, 30, 50 or 70 pages. The suggested price changes with the length.

If you create your ebook with Shoplit AI instead, the language and the number of pages are on the recap, before you start the generation. See Create an ebook from a single prompt.

  • On the Free plan, an ebook has 10 pages. The longer steps show PRO above them: if one of them is picked when you start the generation, Shoplit offers the Pro plan. On this plan the slider starts on 10 pages, so you can start right away. Unlock Pro, under the slider, also offers the Pro plan.
  • On the Pro and Business plans, you can go up to 70 pages.

There’s no limit on words or characters: the number of pages is the only setting. You can’t merge several generations into one longer ebook (200 pages, for example). Each generation makes a separate ebook, and each one counts as one creation in your plan.

You don’t need to generate it again.

  1. In My products, click the gear icon (Settings) on the ebook’s card.

  2. In the General tab, under Ebook language, click French or English. The change applies right away.

  3. Export your PDF again to get the new words in it: open the ebook, then click Export PDF.

Already sold this ebook? Your buyers get the new words too: the file they download is made again at their next download. A copy someone downloaded before stays as it was.
