Set up your storefront
Your storefront is your public page at yourname.shoplit.io. Like a link-in-bio page, it gathers your products, your links and your videos in one place, so one link in your bio is enough.
-
In the left menu, click My storefront. On a computer, the right side shows a live preview of your storefront, as on a phone. On a phone, tap Preview.
-
In Profile, fill in your Display name and your Bio, then add a photo with Upload a profile picture.
-
In Social networks, click a network, like + Instagram or + TikTok, and paste the link to your profile in the field that appears. You can add the same network several times (for example two Instagram accounts), up to 8 links in total: beyond that, only the first 8 are kept when you save.
-
In Appearance, pick a color theme and a font. You can also add a Background image.
-
In Content, add your blocks: + Add a product for one of your sales pages, + Link for any link, + Section title to group your blocks. For a YouTube video, paste its link in the YouTube field, then click + Video.
Drag a block by its ⠿ handle to move it. Click remove to delete it.
-
+ Add a product lists your sales pages that are online. Click the one to add. In its block, you can change its title, its button label and its image. Only sales pages can be added: to show an ebook, create its sales page first.
-
Click Save at the top. Nothing is saved until you do.
-
Click Share link to copy your storefront’s address, then paste it in your social media bio.
There is no setting to take your storefront itself offline: it stays visible at your address. You choose what it shows: it only shows the blocks you added. To stop showing something, click remove on its block, then click Save.
Legal pages and contact email at the bottom
Section titled “Legal pages and contact email at the bottom”At the bottom of your storefront, Shoplit shows links to your legal pages and your public contact email, so buyers know who sells and how to reach you. Only what you filled in appears:
- the legal pages you filled in, in Settings > Legal pages (Legal notice, Terms of sale, Refund policy, Privacy policy);
- your Public contact email, in Settings > Profile & Account.
This is on by default. To hide them, uncheck Show my legal pages and contact email at the bottom in Appearance (step 4), then click Save.
On a paid plan, you can also check Hide “Powered by Shoplit.io” in the same section.
What to put in your legal pages
Section titled “What to put in your legal pages”In Settings > Legal pages, write the text of each page, then click Save. A filled page becomes public at its own address, and its link also shows at the bottom of your sales pages, checkout and thank-you pages.
- Host of your pages: your public pages run on Shoplit’s servers. In your Legal notice, name the host given in the “Hosting” section of Shoplit’s legal notice, and include its address and phone number.
- Right of withdrawal: for a digital product delivered right away, check Show the waiver checkbox at checkout, in the Waiver of the right of withdrawal block of the same tab. Your checkout then shows a required checkbox: the buyer waives their 14-day right of withdrawal before paying. The setting is saved as soon as you click it. The delivery email sent to the buyer then confirms the waiver, in small print below the receipt. Without the checkbox, and only for a buyer in the European Union, the EEA or the United Kingdom (where the law requires it), that small print reminds them of their 14-day period and tells them to reply to the email to withdraw: their reply reaches you directly.
Shoplit doesn’t write your legal pages for you and doesn’t give legal advice.
Your storefront’s language
Section titled “Your storefront’s language”The fixed texts of your storefront, like the default See offer button, Powered by Shoplit.io and the legal links, are in English or in French. Shoplit picks the language of most of your online sales pages. If it’s a tie, it uses the language of your Shoplit interface.
To see how many people visit your storefront and what they click, open Analytics > Storefront.
