Build a quiz funnel

Available on the Business plan.

A quiz funnel asks your visitors a few questions, works out their profile (for example “The Beginner” or “The Expert”), then sends each one to a result page with the product that fits them. It can also collect their name and email before the result.

  1. In the left menu, open Funnels, click + Create, then the Quiz funnel card.

  2. Click Myself, then Continue.

  3. Under At the end of the quiz, choose Same offer for everyone (a single result page, the quiz mostly collects emails) or One offer per profile (2 to 5 profiles, each with its own result page and product). Click Continue.

  4. Name each profile and click Choose a product next to it (with Same offer for everyone, choose one product for all). + Add a profile adds one, up to 5. You can also choose the products later. Click Continue.

  5. Under Before the result, set the Analysis screen: a few seconds where the quiz “works out” the profile, with a Style and ready-made Messages. Then choose whether to Ask for the email before the result. Click Create the funnel.

  6. Click Open the funnel. Your funnel has a quiz page with 3 sample questions to replace, one result page per profile (a single one with Same offer for everyone), the checkout and the thank-you page.

A quiz you build this way counts as a funnel made with Start from scratch, not as an AI creation.

  1. On the Quiz funnel screen, click AI creation.

  2. Click My products and pick up to 5 products: one for everyone, or one per profile. You can also click Attach a file to send a PDF or a ZIP (it becomes one of your products), or describe what you sell. Then click the round arrow.

  3. The AI analyzes your products, then asks five short questions: your audience, the profiles (Name them for me or I have my own names), the email before the result, the mood of the page and the analysis screen.

  4. Check the Quiz plan card: each profile and its product, the pages, the questions and the messages of the analysis screen, written for your niche. Change next to a profile picks another product. Adjust lets you ask for a change in your own words.

  5. Click Generate this quiz funnel. You can leave the page while it’s built. When it’s ready, the funnel opens on its overview.

A quiz built by the AI counts as one AI creation, with the same daily limits as the AI funnel (see Build a complete funnel with AI). The AI funnel can also suggest a quiz when it fits your offer better.

On the funnel overview, click Edit on the quiz page, then click the Quiz block. Its settings have five tabs:

  • Questions: the Quiz start screen and each question, with its type (Single choice, Choice with images, Multiple choice or Free text). For each answer, click the colored dots to choose which profiles it gives a point to.
  • Profiles: the name, product and order bump of each profile, and the link to its result page. If profiles tie on points, the first one in the list wins: drag them to change the order.
  • Email: the form shown before the result (first name, email, phone) and the Tags added to the contact.
  • Appearance: the progress bar, the back button, going to the next question on its own, the answer color and the buttons.
  • Analysis: the analysis screen, its animation style, its title, messages and duration. A quiz built by the AI has a Written by AI set of messages there.

In the editor, arrows on the quiz let you preview each screen. Your visitors don’t see them.

On a result page, write {first_name} in a text ({prenom} works too): it’s replaced by the first name the visitor typed. The button of the result page opens the checkout with the product and order bump of that profile.

  • With the form, each visitor becomes a contact in Contacts. They get an automatic tag named after their profile (for example Quiz: The Beginner), and their answers show on their card under Quiz answers. In the Email tab, you can remove the automatic tag or add up to 5 tags of your own with + Add a tag. Each tag can start a Tag added automation.
  • The Analytics tab of the funnel starts with Quiz analytics: visitors, quizzes started and completed, forms filled in and sales, then the results by profile and the share of each answer.
  • The Automations tab lists the tags of each profile, with + Create an automation.
