Set a price or offer a product for free
You set the price on the product itself, in its settings. Every sales page that sells this product shows that price.
-
In the left menu, open Products > My products. On the product’s card, click the gear icon (Settings). The gear icon appears once the product is ready, not while it’s still being generated.
-
In the General tab, type your price in Price, for example
27. A paid price is at least 0.50, in euros as in dollars (a minimum set by Stripe): a lower price is refused when you save. A price of 0 makes the product free (see below). To show a higher, crossed-out price next to it, also fill in Compare-at price (optional). Only use a price you really charged at least once in the last 30 days: a fake crossed-out price is a misleading commercial practice. -
Under Currency, choose € (euro) or $ (US dollar).
-
Click Save.
Buyers can pay only once your payments are turned on: see Turn on payments with Stripe.
Offer a product for free
Section titled “Offer a product for free”A free product is a great way to collect emails: visitors leave their name and email to get the file. On the Free plan, this also needs an ebook left as generated (see above).
-
Open the product’s settings as above: My products, then the gear icon on its card.
-
In Price, type
0. -
Click Save.
Your sales page then shows Free with a badge, and its button becomes Download for free (in your page’s language). Visitors enter their first name, last name and email, and get the file. You don’t need a Stripe account for a free product.
You can find the emails of everyone who downloaded it in Marketing > Contacts. See Collect emails and find your contacts.
