Copy a funnel

Available on the Business plan.

Already have a funnel on another platform, like Systeme.io, ClickFunnels, GoHighLevel, Kajabi or WordPress? Paste its link: Shoplit finds its pages, then rebuilds them in the block editor with your texts, images, fonts and colors.

  1. In the left menu, open Funnels, click + Create, then the Copy an existing funnel card.

  2. Paste the link of your sales page.

  3. Tick This funnel is mine, or I am allowed to copy it. The button stays grayed out until you do. By ticking this box, you confirm the funnel is yours or that you have the owner’s permission. You are responsible for what you copy.

  4. Click Analyze the funnel.

  5. Wait while the Analysis in progress list fills in: Shoplit reads your sales page like any visitor, then follows its links on the same website (25 pages and 8 minutes at most). You can leave the page: the analysis goes on, and the link of the page brings you back to it.

  6. Click See the pages found. Check the role of each page in your funnel: Sales page, Checkout, Upsell, Downsell, Thank you, Page, or Don’t copy. The × removes a page, and you can drag a page by its handle to reorder.

  7. Under Missing pages?, paste the link of each page that wasn’t found, then click + Add this link.

  8. Click Copy this funnel. The Copy in progress screen shows each stage. You can leave the page here too. When it’s done, click Open the funnel.

Your funnel arrives Offline, marked “Copied from” with the name of the original website. Before you turn it on:

Each page becomes a step of your funnel. The checkout gets the Shoplit payment form, the upsells and downsells become one-click offers, and the thank-you page delivers your product. Sign-up forms become Email capture blocks, and buttons that led to a copied page now lead to the next step.

Choose how close to the original a section stays

Section titled “Choose how close to the original a section stays”

In the editor, click a copied section. In the right panel, Fidelity of this section offers two versions:

  • Shoplit blocks: rebuilt with Shoplit blocks. Everything can be edited, and it stays very close to the original.
  • Exact HTML: the original code, identical to the pixel. Only the texts can be edited, one by one, under Texts of this section.

You can switch at any time. Your changes to that section are then replaced by the other version, and Ctrl+Z (Cmd+Z on a Mac) undoes the switch.

  • Videos hosted on your old platform: an empty video spot takes their place. YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Wistia videos are kept.
  • Your emails and automations, your products and your orders.
  • Members areas and pages behind a login.
