Currencies and your revenue

Each product is sold in one currency: euro or US dollar. Your revenue screens add up all your sales in a single currency of your choice, called the display currency.

  1. In the left menu, open Products > My products. On the product’s card, click the gear icon (Settings).

  2. In the General tab, under Currency, click € (euro) or $ (US dollar).

  3. Click Save.

Your sales page and your checkout show the price in this currency, and buyers pay in it. For a video course (Business plan), open its settings with the gear icon and pick EUR or USD in the Currency dropdown of its General tab.

  1. In the left menu, click Settings. The Profile & Account tab opens.

  2. In Display currency, click Euro (€) or Dollar ($). Your choice is saved right away: Saved appears under the buttons.

Until you pick one, Shoplit chooses for you: the currency of most of your sales, or of your products if you haven’t sold anything yet. The card then says Picked automatically from your sales and products.

Your display currency is used on Home, in Analytics and Sales, for the Total spent of your contacts, for the revenue generated by your promo codes and in your CSV exports.

If you sell in both currencies, the sales made in the other currency are converted at the official rate of the European Central Bank on the day of each sale. A line under your revenue tells you so, for example Sales in euros converted to dollars at the rate of the day of each sale. Click Change next to it to open Display currency.
