Change your username

Your username is the name in all your public addresses: your storefront (yourname.shoplit.io), your sales pages and funnels (yourname.shoplit.io/your-page), your legal pages and your course’s student area (yourname.shoplit.io/espace). If you didn’t choose one when you signed up, it looks like user123456.

Your old links will stop working

Changing your username changes the address of all your pages. Every link you’ve already shared (in your bio, posts, ads, emails or QR codes) stops working, and so do the course links your students already received. Your old username also becomes free again: someone else can take it. If your links are already out there, keep your username.

1. In the left menu, open Settings, then the Profile & Account tab.

   

2. In the Username card, type your new username: 3 to 30 characters, with lowercase letters, digits and dashes (not at the start or the end). Preview shows your new address, and Shoplit checks right away if the name is Available or Already taken.

3. Click Save.

Your storefront, your sales pages and the links shown in Shoplit switch to the new address right away. Then replace your old links everywhere you shared them.

Using your own domain?

Addresses on your own domain (like yourbrand.com/your-page) don’t change and keep working. Only the yourname.shoplit.io links change.

Just want to change the name on your storefront?

That’s your Display name, not your username. Change it in My storefront, section Profile: your links stay the same.
